Walking on the Beach

We loved walking on the beach. We tried to do it as much as possible. We probably would have done it more if it wasn't raining the whole time we were there. This is Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. The water really wasn't too bad but you can totally tell we are tourists with our rain coats on playing in the water. I think that might be an oxymoron, or at least just moron.

At first we tried really hard not to get our shorts wet, but then the tide would come in.

I think we both went home looking like we wet our pants, but it was so worth it. Big D is such a big kid.

Every once in awhile the camera would react with the water in the air and it was either hard to focus or I'd take a picture and all you could see is water droplets.

I think Big D's co-workers thought we were crazy. They wanted to walk the beach with us but not in the water. I think they're crazy, how can you come to the ocean and not play?

We wrote a little message to our kids in the sand. Ahhh, what good parents we are, we leave them for a week and a half and all they get is an "I Love You" in the sand as proof of how much fun we were having without them.
