Pumpkin Patch

I'm a little late posting these pictures. We went on this field trip on the 10th of October. Better late than never.

Bud didn't have school so he went with Bear and me on Bear's field trip to the pumpkin patch.

We trekked through a grueling corn maze that was very educational. At every fork in the path was a question about agriculture. One answer pointed you down one path and the other down the other. If you got the question wrong we'd come to a dead end but if we got it write we'd find another question. It was really fun.

We got to take some corn stalks and feed the animals: pigs, bunnies, horses, and ducks (but the ducks didn't eat the stalks)

At the end of our adventure we got to go out into a big field of pumpkins and pick out which ever one we wanted.

Bear said he wanted to find one this big.

He found the perfect pumpkin.

Since we couldn't get this one in the car the boys were happy to find smaller ones.

We all had a great time visiting the pumpkin patch. I think we should do it again next year. Maybe next year we'll invite dad and the girls, that is if they're not busy.

I love fall pictures!! Pumpkin pictures are the best! I can't believe how much Kendon looks like his daddy. You have the most beautiful kiddos! Sounds like you've got them in some pretty great schools too. What a great way to learn!!
